This video was to represent the a certain section of the East Side of Austin. I chose to display the changes made as a person got closer to I-35. Cesar Chavez changes as it gets closer to the high way and I wanted to show that through this video. The photos that are in front of the video recording are things that a person sees instantly and the photos behind are things that a person must look for or that they do not see instantly.

Locating Place
LocatingType
This book explored the different sections of Austin: East, West, North and South. The text given was about discovering a city and what makes a city. My book reflects the picture and the text throughout. The position of the text and images are a reflection of which side of the city the pictures were taken.

Research Paper
TYPEMagazine
The project was to write a research paper and then design it in some way if desired. My topic was Typographic Principles in Advertising, so I designed a magazine that contained my research paper. The picture examples are what I believe are good typographic principles in advertising.

Field Guide
This project is still in progress. The project is to design a field guide to something of choice. I chose a field guide to patterns, in which I explore the different kinds of patterns that are in downtown Austin. This is an accordion/poster, in which the viewer initially looks at it horizontal and then opens it to reveal a poster for display.

Instructional Design
This project was to show the steps for a daily chore. My topic was How to Wash Dishes. I chose to design packaging for a potential product that could be sold in store. The product shows how to clean dishes using earth friendly products.
